A Message From Our Head Coach

Hello I would like to introduce myself my name is Victoria and I am the Head Coach of Lytham St Annes Swimming Club. From the age of eight I joined my local swimming club and competed at local, regional and national level.
Although these are some of my greatest achievements what I treasure the most from my time as a swimmer is the lifelong friends I made and the love of being confident in the water even 30 years later.
I finished swimming competitively at the age of eighteen, but still had a passion for swimming and wanted to be able to show other people the joy of learning to swim so that’s when I decided to gain my swimming teaching qualifications. I have been teaching and coaching ever since. I am a fully qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher and Level 2 Swimming Coach through Swim England qualifications.
I have now been part of Lytham St Annes Swimming Club for over ten years and the club has gone from strength to strength and seeing the swimmers grow into confident, enthusiastic amazing swimmers makes me a very proud head coach.
Although my responsibilities are to make sure we have a great team of teachers and coaches who provide your children with expert swimming skills, and writing the programmes of training to make sure as a club we focus on all aspects of being a swimmer, the most important thing for me is your child is happy, learning new skills and being the best version of themselves whilst gaining valuable life skills which they will hopefully use throughout their life.
I attend every session and will always make myself available for any questions you or your child may have. I look forward to you and your child joining us and we can continue to make Lytham St Annes Swimming Club a great place to be.
